Purchased my black dial Explorer II about a month ago and couldn't be happier with it. I especially like the weight and readability of the dial.

EXP II easy. In my opinion, the green of the Hulk simply won't age as well( i.e. less timeless) than the white or black of the EXP II.

Timelessness matters if you're going to fork over thousands for a watch.

Even with a massive bright orange 24 hour hand, that looks quite cartoon-ish?!?

YUP....that's right. Timelessness matters and the dial color is a big part of it. Comparing the whole dial and bezel of the Hulk to a GMT hand on the EXP?? The orange isn't massive or cartoonish to me at all. Blends quite well. However, if you're living on TRF and looking at all these big magnified pics, you might see things differently.

Another vote for the Explorer II too. I have tried and tried to love the LVc but at the end of the day it just isnt for me. Both beautiful watches in their own right and you really cannot go wrong with either
