An Omega or an Omega and a Rolex?
I recently acquired a gorgeous Ceramic Blue SMP 300. A friend of mine offered me his Quartz Black SMP non ceramic version which is LNIB (a couple of months old) and a Datejust 1603 that is in fair condition.
As much as I love the Ceramic SMP, I also love the black quartz and the fact that I get a Rolex with it is tempting me. Please vote and help me chose. In addition to this, I have a white 16520 and a G-Shock. |

Get the Rolex and the Quartz SMP as a beater.

I'd rather have a Sub over the Omega but..
I would try to keep the SMP ceramic and maybe save for a Sub - best of both.

I would only recommend doing it if the Rolex on offer is the one you really want. Otherwise you're just swapping Omegas.

I would make the trade. If you end up not liking the DJ you should be able to trade out on another Rolex.

I think the newer Datejusts are nicer aesthetically than the vintage models. That said, I'd keep the ceramic SMP. Unless you really want that Datejust, I suspect it probably would not get too much wrist time in your lineup anyway with the Daytona eclipsing it.

Keep the SMP. The other two are not great watches, one is quartz (ok as a beater) ant the old DJ is just pants! You have a great watch, the new auto Bond is a fine watch, keep it and save for the black SMP or a classic sub. Best of luck with your choice.....

Keep the SMP, I don't think it's a very balanced trade
