I really like a DD on a strap for a dress watch, and $4,500 is a decent price. However, much of the usefulness of a Rolex (any oyster case model) comes from the tough metal bracelet. If you are going to have one Rolex, it should be one that will go everywhere and do everything for you. IMO, that means the LV. If you spend all your time in an office, the DD on strap is a super and affordable Rolex.

If you have $4,500+ to spend, you can get almost any model (pre-owned), so I suggest deciding what your really want and searching for that model at various ages to fit your budget.

Have the watch validated and opened for inspection at a Rolex Dealer - asking us to validate multiple watches based on average photos is not the way to buy a watch.

As has been said before on the forum here - buy the seller first. There is one thing that causes me to pause and think on your pic of the caseback. The "18K" seems to have been stamped and not done with equal pressure. See the photo of a genuine 18038 caseback (ignore the old green sticker). Hope this helps.

If you were buying photographs of Rolexes then they look the same. But since we are talking watches, you need to find a seller, AD or not, who you can trust for fairness and authentic watches. And buy the right watch that makes you feel good.

Asking here with average to poor pictures is not going to accomplish the same thing. Just my 2ç
