My new TT blue sub is here!!!

i don't really know if the dial is the old or the new blue shade...
can anyone tell from the pics? i will take some better ones later

They were all taken in a room with normal lighting
It was the only one in stock so i couldn't compare it with anything..amazing price too..so, i could not leave it there !

CONGRATS!

Lovely timepiece, and it looks like the RIGHT dark blue, and not that "Baby Blue" that has apparantly been spotted on the newest Z-series.

Wear it in good health, my friend!

Good looking watch mic.

It looks like a dark blue, but that doesn't really matter.

What matters is what you think of it when you look at it, and the feel you have when you wear it..

Beautiful! Congrats! Nice photos too! Give us some more

I usually don't like TT, and I don't even like blue that much, but why do I really like this watch? I find myself wishing they would come out with a SS version of the same thing...

Steve, the blue tt Sub is my daily work watch. My SD for weekends and afterhours. The Daytonas are my investments. When I sell the SD,one of the Daytonas will become a wearer. There is logic to my madness ............ (sometimes)

Buying many is nothing, not losing is everything.

Actually, that makes sense to me. thinking about an SD or the GMTIIc for my daily wear. Can't not wear the Daytona though so it's for wkends.

guys are you sure that the dial has become lighter on newer models? My dealer was laughing when i told him and the guys at timezone seem not to have an idea about it. Isn't it just the lighting???

No. There is a difference. I took my TT Blue Sub in (bought March 2007) and compared it with the newest TT Blue Sub my AD had just got in about 2 weeks ago. There is an obvious difference side by side.

There is a noticable difference. All sales staff at the AD and Downing who was with me agreed. Noticable difference.

Both are beautiful. I just prefer the darker one. Looks more rich and purple.

Steve:

Would you please help me on this. As someone new to the modern Rolex collection and someone considering buying a
"blue Sub", do I undestand correctly from your quoted post that the blue face and the blue bezel only comes on the TT SUB with date ?

Your clarification will be much appreciated.

Stuart

I never considered another watch for my first Rolex; it always was in my mind to buy the blue sub.

I agree with the others, yours appears to be the same as mine; the darker blue color. Congrats!
