Ok. I'm Steven from So. Cal. Early on opted for a Panerai Sub instead of a Dweller. Huge mistake. Nice watch I guess, but all of their forums seem to discuss nothing but new straps and behind the wheel wrist shots. That watch is now on the sales block.

Bought my wife a salmon Datejust last Valentine's day and the thought of me not having a Rolex for myself drove me nuts!

Joining the fold with a SS GMT IIC. Honored to be part of this elite group of Rolex admirers. No turning back.

Dudes .....

My name is Brandon and I have a 16610 Sub. Maybe one day in the future I'll get a TT sub with the blue dial. Otherwise, I'm quite content with what I got.

Except for the stolen SUB all are safe and sound at home. The new purchases (2007) were the fault of ALL YOU GUYS. A noobie to this site, but as you guessed, not a noobie to life. My wife and kids, the ones that live at home with me, are somewhat amazed that I have gotten addicted to this site. Their running joke around the house to any general question or life problem is "what does TFR think". Hey, at my age I just about laugh at anything life has to offer.

Just under 60 days me thinks

Well, my signature says it all...

2006 D Serial Pepsi GMT & 2007 Z Serial Blue T/T Sub that I've just purchased after seeing so many pretty ones on here ! Future 'wants' are a white gold Daytona on brown leather strap, Sub LV, GMT II Ceramic, and a white face S/S Daytona...

Up to near on 200 posts and enjoying catching up every evening (and day if I ever get a spare minute at work !)...

Great place

Oh, and I'm from sunny England

Hey folks, Greg here, from Oregon. I signed up last Friday and posted in the New Members section but will say "Hi" again. I have a T series SS Sub Date/16610 that I bought in 1998 and an E series GMT Master/16700/"Dr Pepper" Bezel. Actually purchased 3-4 mos.ago from PonyCar/Jared who I see on here as well. I had a vintage SS Datejust 1601 prior to that.
(sold to fund the GMT)

After seeing KansaiVet's Black Dial Explorer II in person, I am really obsessing on an Exp II that as my next.

Hello everyone! William here from Maryland. I have a 14060M. Used to own a Date, a Datejust and an Explorer (one after the other). I do regret selling the DJ so my next one will most like be a 116200... :)

Hi Guys - I've been around for 3 weeks or so now - really enjoying an learning a lot from you guys on this forum.
In fact, it was with advice from two forum memebers that helped me purchase my first Rolex 2 weeks ago.

A 2002 limited edition SS/18kt Thunderbird with original factory MOP and diamond dial.

As soon as I get it back from my AD - which should be in the few days, i'll be posting pictures - its absolutley beautiful !!
My next Rolex purchase.. something with another MOP dial - I do know what it is, but MOP really seem to hit a chord.

I am new here but have been reading for a while. Great forum. You guys have been really helpful in convincing me to step my wrist game up. I bought my wife a Cartier a few years ago (SS small Tank Fran) and have been wanting to treat myself for a while. But, I never really found that watch that just felt like the one. I always kind of viewed Rolex as an old man's watch, but after lurking here for a while and doing some more research, I am really feeling the SS Sub Date. I've gone and looked at them I really like the look/feel and the history of the watch is cool too. I think I am now ready to make the move.

I've spoken with a few AD's around Houston and am not too impressed so far. Not to derail the thread, but I know some of you brag about your AD's from time to time. If any of you have an out of state AD that ships, I'd really appreciate you PM'ing me their contact info. I'd love to save the sales tax (8.25 here). Also, I have tested the waters some around Houston and most dealers seem to at least pretend that they can't give discounts on this watch (I know this may be true but am a little skeptical). Anyway, hello everyone.
