Vintage Rolex Ads???
I really enjoyed seeing some of the ads in a previous thread. Where is the best place to find some of those vintage ads? I haven't had good luck searching the internet for them.

Here's another one: http://www.doubleredseadweller.com/comex_ads.htm
I haven't seen Dave (Subfiend) around for a while, but he's got a great collection of ads as well.

Michael, there are lots of vintage ads in The Rolex Report, The Best Of Time and Vintage Rolex Sports Models.
Unfortunately, they are often shrunk down so more than one can fit on a page, which makes reading the copy a little more difficult for an old guy like me.

Thanks for the info Downing. Hopefully my "young" eyes will be able to handle it, though they do seem to be getting worse all the time.

I have purchased a couple of pretty cool 1680 ads on Ebay. You might want to try a search.

I have hundreds of vintage Rolex ads that I have accumulated over the past few years, as well as several catalogs and books. Most of them were acquired on ebay, but then the competition got pretty stiff for the more rare ads. Prices rose into the stratosphere. That's when I started looking for old magazines that were likely to carry the old ads, and I began finding some real treasures at more affordable prices. Like this double ad from 1967:
And this ad introducing the new Rolex LeMans chrono the year before it was named the Daytona: Send me a private message and I will tell you some of my secrets on where to find them.
