Questions about my new Datejust
Hi I bought a Datejust for my wife last night. My questions are:
When I pull out the crown to adjust time, I found that the minute hand would move a bit when I touch the crown slightly. Is this normal? (My SD doesn't have such problem. I hope you would understand what I mean ^^") Besides, last night after adjusting the time, I pushed back the crown, but the second hand didn't move. I was panic, so I pulled out the crown again, and pushed back. This time the second moved. Any member experienced this before? |

The minute hand moving while touching the crown in its last timesetting "click" is perfectly normal.
Sometimes if you push in the crown too slowly, the watch will not start running since you simply did it too slowly. You should give the crown a good push. Read more about "winding and setting your watch" in the below link: FAQ's: Winding setting your watch. CLICK + scroll down!

mrgeeba i had the same problem with my DJ when i first got.. when i use to set the time i minute hand slightly jumped a bit... i took it to rolex and they said they had to align the hands.. i came back 2 days and it was brand new.. but never had experience with the second hand.. i asked if it would have any damage on the watch but they assured me it wouldnt affect the watch, the hand just jumps a bit... take it to rolex they will get it fixed for u.. good luck |
