Any good watchmaker in San Francisco, California ???

Is there any good rolex watchmaker in SF, CA????
I have been to Post St. RSC, is that place reliable????

I ask this because I took Sub to authenticate but watchmaker only took a look for few minutes with his bare eyes and loupe and said, its all real.

Then I ask him to if he can open up the back case to make sure, but he said its not necessary.

Can a good experienced watch maker can tell its authenticity that quick????

Basically, YES, an experienced watch maker that deals with/handles Rolex watches all day long will be able to tell quite quickly if a Rolex is the real deal or not. I would recommend that it is a Rolex-trained watch maker from an authorized Rolex dealer that inspects it, though.

There are so many OUTER small tell-tale signs that tell you if the watch is real or not (I won't discuss these details here!).

But then again, opening the case back and inspecting the movement is the ultimate test.

But WHY would you worry that your Rolex is not authentic, if I may ask? Were did you buy it?

i bought from an individual seller and I don't know what it was that bugged me.
I guess because there are so many fakes out there and unfortunately I had to sell the watch. Which I still regret because I bought at the steal price.
