Do you use your rolex in every situation
With everyday situations, do you keep your rollie on or in some instances you think twice and take it off??
If you think twice and take it off what are you doing?

I wear mine every day, but must confess that I take it off prior to certain activities. I'd like to say I'm James Bond and wear in in all situations from fighting the bad guys to dancing with the ladies, but it just isn't true. I take mine off for yard work, exercise, and any other situation that might get it banged up. I admire people who refuse to take it off regardless of what activity they are doing. It just helps prove the reliability of the brand.

Reminds me of a story. A friend of mine decided to go back to college at the age of 35. He has a blue TT sub, at any rate, this tree hugging, bleeding heart liberal professor (is there any other kind?) came up to him and actually said "do you know how many starving children your could feed with the money you spent on that watch?" ....................Imagine that!!! |

The only time I have taken it off so far b/c I was afraid of scratching it is for cleaning my gutters by hand. Too many nooks and crannies surrounded by metal gutter for my liking. I never took off my Tag for this chore so I hope to get to that point with my SD but no promises.

I usually remember to take it off about the same time I smack it against something hard.

I'm an engineer and I work around a lot of machinery. I take mine off anytime I reach into a confined space in or around machinery.

Yes I wear my Rollie in whatever I do, even working out. unless if my girl friend is sittin beside me watching a movie, then I'll have to remove the Rollie or switch hands to avoid it being scratched.

I wear mine almost all the time except where I know I may possibly scratch it.
With work, if I'm carrying anything like a server, workstation, printer and etcetera that can scratch the bracelet, I'll pocket the Rolex. If I'm photographing in areas where I'm climbing rocks or so on, I secure the Rolex. Yes, I'm sure my LV can take it but I really don't want big nasty scratches on it. |

Who's worried about the watch?
I take it off when I'm afraid the watch will damage something else. Think James Bond activities, but not fighting the bad guys.
That oyster clasp can leave some unsightly scratches. |

I would take my Rolex off before anything that could scratch it, for example when fixing my bike.
During my work (office work) I never take off my Rolex.
