I am saving for my next watch and the royal oak has my attention but have ?'s.

I have been saving up for my next watch and I was thinking a pp aquanaut but the more I see the royal oak the more it is growing on me..
I currently have a date just , subc, and Tudor chrono.. I do have some questions , I really like the 15300 models and am seeing them on here for 10k range but also love the chrono white dial 2560st? I see that they Are 39mm and am wondering if they make the 36mm still?
I have a skinny wrist mabee 6.5 inches and love there bracelet but am not sure how it would sit on my wrist, I don't want it to look silly as the 40mm subc is borderline for my skinny wrists.. I also see the date models have clear case back but the complications do not is this common?
Can someone with skinny wrists post some wristshots of the 39mm and smaller ones if you have them ?

Well I think you are headed in the right direction.

I have a 6.5 wrist and wear the 44mm very comfortable.

Have Sub C (LN andLV) and they now seem a little small.

It's all perspective.

15300 (if you can still find new) will sit nice on your wrist.

I tried on the 39mm recently.
On my round 6.5 wrist, its large.. the lugs stuck out too much. If you have a flat wrist, it should be OK.
The 37mm 15450 was the perfect size for me.

You really need to try them on. 39mm fits just fine on my 6.5".

I'm sure the 39mm 15300 would fit you perfectly.
There is no 36mm in production however the 15400 comes in both 41mm and 37mm.

I am going to be looking pre-owned because I see they take a initial hit on value, did they make a 36mm and if so how long ago?
I like the size of the date just so I think 36mm would be a nice fit.
I think there is a ad in englewood nj, do they have a strickt policy on no or little discount on new models like rolex or is 30% off possible?

IMHO APs can be purchased new and you can still come out ok. Look around and you can find a good to great discount. IMHO it's somewhat of a misconception that APs don't hold their value. If you compare to MSRP this is true but they can be purchased new at a decent discount and after that I think they hold their value well. Like all brands some models better than others.

I agree, actual new transaction prices are normally discounted, & resale value reflects this...

I agree the 39mm 15300 or 15202 would fit perfectly, I think they would actually fit smaller than your subc.

The display back is on the 15300 and 15202 not the Chrono models.

I have 7.25" wrists and the 15300 is a great fit. I also have a 46.2mm BP and love the that fit as well. Like what was said above, it's all perspective. Good luck!

Here are the reference numbers for all 36mm Royal Oaks. Long gone for more than a decade if am not mistaken. I would definitely recommend a 15300 or 15202. It will fit you just fine. I have friends with 6.5" wrists that wear them and they look perfect.

If you can wear a SubC, you should be fine with a 39mm RO. My wrist is less than 6.5" and I had no problem with any of the 39mm ROs. Even the 41mm were fine, bulkier, but fine.

This is 1979 vintage model 4100 on my 6.5 inch wrist. Not the best of pics as the watch is a little off center on the wrist but you get the idea. I have a 42mm (another brand) that fits perfectly on my wrist, so I bet a 39mm would work well for you, but trying one on is the real measure...good luck.
