Bark President, diamonds look wonky. Am I wrong?

I asked the owner, he said I was jealous because I did not have $40,000 on my wrist :)

I can't tell from the photo, but the date wheel seemed off as well as the magnifier.

I think it's a real DD with genuine dial, added after market diamonds and an aftermarket bezel.
On a sidenote, a realistic price would be 5.5k give or take. |

Has Rolex ever made a Bark bracelet like that? I thought bark was for the center links? Also it's not horizontal!

The date font sits to high in the wheel.

I've never seen a Bark President with the grooves on the outer links (only the inner links). Also, I don't recall the grooves carrying over to the case as well as the bracelet. Also, why are the grooves vertical instead of horizontal? Definitely not my cup of tea either with all of those "diamonds" on it.

Rolex has never made a bark watch like this, the centre links are bark on the band as well as the bezel usually. The case is not bark finished usually secondly, the bark is the wrong direction. This is very bad custom work looks horrible. The dial is not original the diamonds were added the date and day wheel are misaligned shonky watchmaker last serviced it, so it would need to be done again IMHO, pass on the watch

Looks like somebody took a grinder to a cheap aftermarket gold plated bracelet.

If that thing is worth 40K I would be quite surprised---just not a nice watch for my money, at almost any price.
