Is this watch a fake ?

Plz tell me is this watch a fake ? and how can we know whether is fake or not ?

The main way is to open the caseback and see if the gears are colored.

sorry, but my brother give me this, and he say it is a authentic, but i don't believe him, i just want to check again ...

The rehaut looks really bad.. And yeh, alot of fakes come in the plastic wrap around bracelet.

I just ask him about the plastic wrapp and he said he just go to a watch marker to adjust the band to fit my hand so they wrapp it to protect the bracelet ...

Never seen a watchmaker wrapping up a bracelet like this.

Your "brother" or you should try to tell better stories imo

Yes its fake:

1. plastic wrapping like all the others said

2. wrong hand stack....hour hand is always on the bottom, easiest tell

3. rehaut engraving is terrible

I never owned an explorer but from what I understand they use the same movement as a GMT II so therefore Hour hand should be on the bottom. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

I just looked at my GMT II C and Non Ceramic pics (previous watches I owned), hour hand was on the bottom.
