Jaeger LeCoultre Aston Martin Memovox

Does anyone own one of these? I was looking for a Jaeger and went in to a local dealer and saw this and thought it looked interesting. I was more interested in a vintage memovox but the dealer had one of these Aston Martins in store and showed it to me.
It is titanium and the case color is very unique.
AD lists the price at just over $14k and I was offered this one for just under 11k
What do you think about the watch? and the price?

I like it, its got a modern design. On the other hand you could get a vintage memovox in gold for less than that. Good luck deciding!

I'd get a vintage Memovox as well... unless you have an Aston Martin to go with it.

Thanks for the input.
The watch really is a nice piece and I like the unique look, but the price does seem high.
I notice the watch does 'chime' sometimes when you are handling it.

The Aston Martin affliation is kinda cheesy IMHO. And as another member already pointed out, unless you have an Aston it seems kinda pointless. Just my two cents.

I always stay away from the co-branded watches. They tend to really suffer at resale times (consider the very unpopular IWC "AMG" ref 3227 versus the standard, cult following, ref 3227 for example).

To be blunt, this has "potential buyer's remorse" all over it... keep your powder dry (and money in the bank) for now
