There were so many types of boxes made for different markets by Rolex and its in-country subsidiaries I really can't tell what is real or replica unless it's obvious.
What especially stood out on this particular example that tipped you off?

Looks pretty good with the crown logo pressed into the leather as it should and the Rolex logo inside where it should be. It would be an obvious fake if they printed it on the cover and had the logo in the center on the inside. I was gonna say it was genuine unless there is another wood finish to compare it to.

The inside wood is to light, it is unvarnished. Rolex put a lacquer coat on the wood
