Trade 16520 for a 116520?

A friend offered my his complete set black 116520 in a trade towards my white mk5 tritium white 16520 (watch only). Should I do the trade or stick with what I have? If I was to trade, how much cash from my side would make this a fare trade?

I prefer the black rolex daytonas but prefer the white 16520. If I do this, I will trade my 14060m in the future for a white 216570.

What do you guys think? Go for it?

I would wait to see if they will update the Daytona in 2013. Moreover i prefer not to buy a used watch. But its all upon your personal prefrences. Good luck and keep us posted

Thank you both.

Feras, I don't mind a used watch but, that does make sense. The 16520 has been with my family since '94. I guess that's a +1 for the 16520.

Coin flip - except for your conflicted preference: "I prefer the black rolex daytonas but prefer the white 16520."

I can't help with that!

Seems it has a sentimental value, which is imo priceless imo

Being a Vintage newbie, I actually prefer the older model; maybe I'm biased because I am actively seeking a 16520 also :)

The Zenith white dial is IMO the prettiest of the modern Daytonas. Can't beat the contrast of the black subdial rings.

Good call! You'd regret letting go of your 16520!

I like the black 116520 the most.

as for white dial version, I'd say 16520 is better looking than 116520
