This is my favorite angle (darn, it just includes a link, oh well)--contrasts the polished and brushed surfaces and emphasizes the layered effect of the case and depth of the dial elements. I would love to know how AP designers decided on each component and then the final combination. Does anyone know why it's called a Panda? Thanks for the great close ups. Wear it in excellent health. Congrats Sandro! Looks great. I looked at another Panda today. The Silver-dialed WG Daytona.
The configuration of sub-dials on the Daytona more closely resemble a Panda - big black eyes, mouth etc. The sub-dial config on an AP is turned sideways, but folks still call this a Panda dial. |
