Buy a Rolex Explorer to match your Name or you'll have to change your name to
"Watchthatnoonelikesorrespects" LOL

Just kidding...(not really)

Found this by searching "the Google" on the "Internets"...

I think that the Invicta Submariner lookalike watches are pure garbage and I don`t think this is the place to be discussing them.

The Invicta Watch Company is a fashion watch company that bought the name in 1991, and they don't make anything themselves and are headquartered in Hollywood Florida..

They order their watches and parts from different sources, so from one year to the next they may have different movements. It's best to do some research so you know what year and movement is more robust..

They are a popular department store watch in the 2-400 dollar range and have a large following. Yes, they intentionally copy other popular up-scale watches.

Get one if you want one. They compare favorably with Fossil and other brands in that price range.. Don't get one expecting that you have something as good as/similar to a Rolex - that would be a pretty far reaching imagination..

I saw one at the track this weekend and I think they did a good job ripping off the Rolex.
Outside of ripping off Rolex, they suck.

Uh, was that too strong? You do realize this is a watch that costs less than an empty Rolex box on eBay?

Even though mine is broken now, I think for the price the 8926 Pro Diver is a good watch.

They've actually started using a better movement than the one in mine and I believe the diameter has been pushed up to 42mm, instead of 40mm.

I have no problem with homages and there are an awful lot of them out there.

On the whole, I'm not very impressed with Invicta, but they did get me interested in automatic movements again, which is the main reason I bought mine.

Go ask John Holbrook, he used to be quite a big fan of that watch, and he knows all about them.

My 9937 with Swiss movement and sapphire crystal has given me good service. Kinda beat up now, I wear it whenever my activity is likely to get a watch bashed.

"Not in the Rolex, Omega or Tag Heuer league, but it has so many nice features that if you where going to buy a submariner for $5k or a seamaster for 2k and you get to hold this timepiece in your hands for just $380, you can get confused."

I have a Pro Diver, not the Swiss Made, but, I never get it confused with the Sub or the Seamaster.

Here is my Submariner with 3 of the 4 homages I also own. I have no illusions about which is the better watch but I enjoy all of them and all of the homages work very well but the Invicta 8926 is the best one.

Before somebody wants to get all status conscious on me, yes, I could have posed them with my MontBlanc pen.

The Invicta 8926 diver made a good starter watch for my son. When he turns 18 I'm going to replace it with something more legitimate but not too pricey (Hamilton, Longines, Glycine, etc.).

BTW, if you pay more than about $85 for one of these, you're buying from the wrong source.
