Just picked this beauty up Yesterday!

Hey guys,

I love the Zenith 16520, especially nice with the black rings on the sub dials...

I came across this in a shop this weekend.. it looked in mint condition with original box but no papers... it's an R serial 1988 Mark 1 dial. Ideally would have loved a porcelain dial but difficult to get hold of so was lucky to get this stunning piece.. Really excited to be wearing this! Hope you like the pics

Cheers

Is this "Units per Hour" engraving for real?

It does not look like Rolex does these things. And it reminds me of a fake. And it is worse than the fake's engraving, to be honest.

Unless the pictures are really weird.

Are you sure this is fake friend? Did I miss a fake again?

No, I am not sure. It seems the pictures look really weird. A lot out of focus and out of alignment. Must be intended, whatever causes this on a small object like a watch. All the engravings look strange. I guess they look all OK in real.

Not sure how you can say it's fake? Do you have a picture of one that you say is real to compare? there is nothing specific about your description or comment and frankly doesn't make sense.

In 1988 the bezel writing was positioned that way!!

For a 1988 watch as I see it it looks mint, no scratches or anything. So, maybe sometime they polished the watch on RSC and re-paint the engraving. Just a thought...
