iOS Bug with Photos?

Hi Everyone,

I'm noticing something strange with both my new iPhone 5 and my iPad 2 (on iOS6)....

On both devices, when I tap on a random photo I have saved in an album, the thumbnail represents one photo, but when I tap it to open it, it's another photo completely! It's doesn't happen with every photo, but its random.

Also, some photos have the bottom portion greyed out when I tap it and it opens. It's like I can only see half the photo. Again, this only happens with random photos I try open.

Has anyone else experienced this in iOS 6?

Driving me nuts.

Thanks

I'm noticing not that exactly but certainly a few buttons are "sticky" - and they open random stuff.
I had iOs 6 on my 3GS and all seemed very good ( for the day or two I ran it before buying the 5), but, yeah, definitely, the 5 is behaving oddly on swipe commands here and there - especially trying to turn off Wifi - takes at least 6-8 swipes.

Here we go! - Roll on 6.0.1...

Yes, issues with swipes here, too. Plus, do u guys notice a slimming of the font while typing right here on TRF?? Plus, takes a fraction of a sec delay when clicking "Post Quick Reply"!

First the maps now this, another sign that things have been rushed to keep the Apple ball rolling along in front of the competition.

Neither have I!

Admittedly, I haven't tried what Karis has suggested, but overall, all things seem to be working well....and in some cases much better!

Searches on safari seem to be quicker, and the time my Ipad displays seems to be corrected. Before it was always around 7 minutes fast to local time, however now it seems to be in-sync!

Seems like a back up problem. Stuff like that can happen with anything when you restore from a back up made on a different OS version.

But I set up my iPhone as new....

Anyway, I ended up removing all photos from both my iPad2 and my new iPhone and then re-syncing and it seems to have worked. Though I haven't checked all 800 pics yet!

I moved to iOS in June and I never had any photo issues even though I have several albums and over 2000 photos in it.

Glad to hear it all worked out. :-)

That might be a Twitter app limitation and not an OS issue.
I do not use Twitter though so I would not know for sure.

I'm having trouble saving images. I used to be able to hold the image and get the window with the save image option. Now, I only get the copy bubble. Glad my phone is still on iOS 5 with google maps.
