Is this normal
I am in talks to buy a Tudor Black Bay. The watch was bought in Austrailia from an AD. However the seller has told me that he does not have the manual or red wallet that the watch came with. He says that the AD is trying to source it from Rolex and will take time. I think I m being paranoid but any help is much appreciated.

It can happen. If you are not comfortable don't feel pressurised into buying though

When I bought my BB it didn't have the instruction book. The eager couldn't provide it so I emailed Tudor/Rolex customer service twice requesting a replacement and got no answer.

So run, don't walk, away from it, and find another. They are out there. |

Why not to buy it, if the watch and papers are ok, you can get that manual and wallet after.

It seems weird that a watch from an AD didn't come with the manual or red wallet ... perhaps the seller can give you the name of the person at the AD so that you can ring up the AD to verify for yourself ... as posters above said, better safe and cautious that the possibly that it's not authentic ....

I would wait until everything in tact. The AD will hold the watch until missing items are delivered to the store, right?

When I worked in a Rolex AD, we would never sell a watch without the paperwork. If a watch arrived with out, we would be on the phone to Rolex straight away. And the missing items would be on my desk the next day.
Sounds dodgy |

If you buy it now the seller will have little incentive to get you the items later. Its better to search until you find just the right one. They are out there.
