The worst MTV video I can find goes to

Billy Squier
Im sure there is worse....
Billy Squier was real big in early 80's till this came out....
I always thought it was his "coming out" video....it really sucked.

Well, this isn't MTV, but it's pretty bad.

Maybe, this is Swedish MTV, as it says MTV in the lower right corner of the screen.

This thime I should shut up, and say, Yes that is SWEDISH TV... But it isn't.

It's Finnish TV. See, there what I did? I should have shut up.

MTV is a Finnish TV channel, nothing to do with Music Television.

That just took the record I think. Must be from the early 80-ties.

MTV3 is actually the most watched, and probably best TV channel in Finland, shows they learned from their mistakes. I think they have 9 different TV channels today.

Thanks for setting me straight.

I have been fascinated by the Finnish attraction to the Tango, ever since I heard about it.

It makes that video that more interesting knowing that it is Finnish.

You know that song is just typical pop from that era, but the dancing is so bizarre that I don't even know what to think of it.

I love to learn something new every day.

I'm not fascinated by the Finnish version of Tango, it's nothing like the Argentinian.

As a swedish speaking finn, I luckily distance myself far away from the "tango", we just call it "humppa".

Yeah, that one by Billy Squier is pretty bad. I'd really have to think to find one that's worse.

THAT'S A CLASSIC LOL! We had his conversation at the gym some months ago when the song/vid came on. Your statement is soooo very true.
Cant believe any 80's girl would be interested in a guy acting like that.At which point did he think that was sensual to them?

So bad!

The director must have just gotten done with Flash Dance when he did this one.

OMG that was awful.

For me, it will ever be Terry Jack's "classic". YMMV. Of course, it's the song that so awful, not necessarily the video "treatment".

I don't know if it's the worst music video ever, but it's in the top 5. David Hasselhoff's "Hooked on a Feeling."

What the heck was that?! Shouldn't he have the means to do a proper video?

Except for the "Ooga-Chaka," which was a little over done, I thought Hasslehoff's version was quite good.

The video, while probably among the silliest, is undeniably tongue-in-cheek.

So it's the world worst song for sure and then on top of that it's two old guys singing around fabulous ladies dancing, which wouldn't be a bad thing in most videos but the song wrecks the fact the woman are good looking. It's literally a waste of feminine-power.

That was a GREAT video! Computer-generated animation in its infancy.

That video kills me as much as "Dancin in the streets" David Bowe and Mick Jagger. I thought for sure they would make out...

I listened to this song on my way back here tonight! I kept singing it in my car while driving on the highway...the feeling is incredible!

Oh no you didn't! This video is a classic, you are not to talk about it without the respect it clearly deserves!

Yes, of course. Much love and respect to David Bowie and Mick Jagger but you have to admit that the choreography was as 'good' as "Rock Me Tonight"....

While I love both Bowies and Jaggers music, I've never understood this song.

This may or may not be the worst video ever, but is most certainly should be considered elder abuse.
