Dupont Lighter experts....
I'm looking at a Dupont lighter, but I'm somewhat careful, as I there's so many "fakes".
Any expert advise? I'm looking for a well used vintage piece.

I would guess that half you see are fakes.....and there are some real good ones....
I had a Gatsby model years ago and walked off from a slot machine in Vegas and left it....almost 400 bucks down the drain. I wont by anything over a Bic now. If it was me I would stay away....far away from Ebay and look for a discounted new one....less problems and if it does not work you can send it back. The one I bought was from payless cigars online....I had been buying boxes of cigars for over a year from them and they made me a great deal off the web price....almost 100 below web price.....still wish I had it. |
