Please help. Probably real. Dont want to kill my uncle

Okay real quick. I am at a family get together today hanging out with my uncle. He has a nice Rolex Submariner 16610 that I have been begging him to sale me and today he finally said yes as he wants a newer model. Naturally I told him what I was going to do and he said fine. As for box, papers, etc. He says he has them at his house(9 hours away) so I cant post them but he says watch is a f series. I thought f series was made by Ford. But anyway he did say watch has never been serviced but he takes great care of it and very seldom wears it. Watch does look pretty pimp. Please help. No I am not some troll!!!!! I just some honest feedback and dont want to ruin a relationship. Thanks and TRF rocks.....Here are some pics

Absolutley. Again someone please answer about the flat piece at the end of the band with no Rolex logo? Is that fine. The band does have 93250 on it. Thanks again. On to the pics

Sorry for the delay. I am having some serious internet problems!!!!! Keep trying to post them but everytime I hit post the internet goes down. By the way can someone please answer that blank piece at the end of the band. It does read 93250 though. One more shot of the guards also.

I have tried to upload pics as asked but I am waiting on the mods. I actually tried 3 times and with my crappy internet service I didnt realize the problem was with the mods. I thought it was my internet. However in the mean time can someone clue me in on the blank part of the extension. Why is it just flat with no logo. Shouldnt there be? The band does read 93250 though

it looks like my 16610, congrats on the piece. You can almost rule out a fake by the clock setting direction (in most cases). Do you set your time Clock wise or Counter Clock wise?

I set the time playing with it and wound it going up. It felt very well made and I know it may sound silly but I kinda shook it to see if I can hear anything moving around in the case. I heard nothing but a very faint singular tick when moving it. Like I heard a quick tick and nothing else.

I have tried to post a few more pics but they are in limbo waiting on the mods. Not sure what that means but what do I know. I am new here. By the way can someone answer the question about the extension( that flat piece with no markings) Shouldnt it have a Rolex symbol there. It does have on the inside of the buckle the Rolex logo with a CL 10, then STEELINOX, then 93250. I seen the comments about it is my uncle and I get that but he lives 9 hours away and I see him once every 2 or 3 years. Yes I trust him but I value the expertise of the people on this site who love watches and know them well inside and out. Thanks everyone.

The flat piece you are referring to is the divers extension.
It folds into the underside of the clasp buckle and is opened as an extension to wear over a divers suit....

There should be a Rolex emblem on one half of the folding blade with the letter S under it..

Have you opened it up?? It is a two piece hinged extension.....The Rolex word and emblem are on the inner side of one half.

No sir. It appeared like it could be folded over one more time but it was quite stiff and I felt like it wouldnt fold open one more time.

Okay now that I am confident watch is the real deal holyfield. Lol. How about his price?? I will get box, papers, manuals, and he even said he has two tags. Red and green. He said green one has model number, serial number, and I believe band number of 93250. ALL FOR $5000.00 as he said he had been doing some research due to my constant nagging. Watch doesnt have a scratch on it. NO WHERE!

5K is right around the market value.....Do a search through the classifieds here and it will reveal an average price!!

Given it's from your uncle however, press for the family discount.

Either way, the watch looks good, and at 5, it's a solid deal!

Rob I just want to say thanks again for everything and all you do as a moderator that makes this website truely amazing. I read some post about people trolling or whatever. That wasnt what I was doing at all. I was clearly showing what I felt was a real Rolex and didnt ask anyone to tell me why that felt it was real. I love this place and will be a member for as long as you allow. BTW I will try to work him down. BIG TO YOU ROB

As a fellow 16610 owner I would say that watch looks great and the price seems great as well IMHO. If you don't buy it I will! Lol
