hey guys im really new here and i was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this matter? Is this watch real or fake? just curious because of the auction settings etc.

99% real imo but the crystal may be replaced. this seller does quite a few deals and has good feedback. buy the seller. |

The watch looks good but refinished dial is not a good thing for collectors it's generally not good, nice condition. If you are going to wear it and enjoy it it's fine, but its not a for the collectors for sure. I would pay 1400 approx maybe 1500 because it looks nicely serviced.

yea i really am looking to just enjoy it i love vintage vintage watches, i feel they tell a story to be honest. What would you guys say i could sell it for in say 5 years?

it's not an investment grade watch, that is what i was saying nicely before, it will not appreciate in value, in five years the watch will be worth about the same as now $1400

mhmm, well thanks guys ive gone ahead and switched gears due to those comments i found this beauty and i was wondering what you guys think about it? im able to buy it at why i think is a great value? it seems to be very rare due to it being a 58' watch with an auto movement. It is an urban myth!!! I've seen way too many threads on this topic that are incorrect. I've discussed this with U.S. Customs officials in the past and have helped a couple members here with pre-owned watches that were seized by customs. They weren't seized because they were shipped to the USA, they were seized because they believed they were counterfeit.
