Old Sub - 16610 I can't even guess at the number of Subs and SubC's I've flipped over the years and I'm about to buy another 16610 and hope it's the keeper this time. Wore a few SubC's (3 as I recall) for months each and just could not get used to the weight and the size of the clasp.

Well apart from a thin slither of very expensive ceramic, maxi dial and a new clasp and slightly different case and price rise. The new sub is very much like the old 16610 sub,the main bit the cal 3135 movement is still basically the same as when launched in 1988

No bracelet is solid they all have holes for the screws and bracelet pins much like the old type bracelet.

New. I traded last version for C, and am delighted. The bracelet alone is worth the change.

I prefer old subs, pre ceramic. 16610. It's a modern classic.

I have a 16610 and love it. It's been able to handle everything I've thrown at it. I've worn the 116613 for extended periods on and off and like it, but to me the additional cash for the "upgrades" isn't worth it.

I love vintage. I've had a 16610, which was nice, but I sold it after a year. I now have a 1970 1680 Red, and love it. I like the new ceramic ones, too, but can't get past vintage right now!

16610 LV Best of both worlds with the option of a black bezel.

I like the older models because they are slightly thinner and have just a little more character in my opinion. As for new models, I find the new gmtII-c to be the best looking sports model hands down...

Tried on the new ND SubC last week and liked it on better than in pics. Bracelet is wonderful. But...still love the 14060 and 16610 for its narrower lugs. The ceramic looks silver in some light...too shiny for me.
Also, do others also wish that Rolex designed in some texture on the clasp to follow the pattern of the links? I think the new one looks too plain (or too much like a normal Oyster Perpetual clasp).

Vintage and current Sub Dates for me i.e. 1680, 16800 (matte) and 116610
Not a fan of the 16610, although the LV's maxi dial was a big improvement

The anti reflective coating under the cyclops is another improvement worth mentioning.
