Prepping for the storm

All going according to plan for the anticipated biggest storm in recorded history for this area.

Now I'm just pumped to have the HULK on to help get me through. Lol.

Not really serious, but am enjoying this monster so much it's ridiculous. Can hardly believe its my third and even thought about flipping this one, before my no flipping rule went into effect.

The reports just keep getting worse. Irene destroyed this area and they are saying this will be significantly worse. Oddly, I'm feeling a bit of adrenaline. Kind of excited.

At a bar now with friends, as of tonight we are all battening down the hatches.

Very prepared, and tons of firewood. Good luck to all in this area.

Good luck all and stay well! Enjoying the last of tolerable weather here in New Jersey. Them it becomes pretty bad by this time tomorrow. We are as ready as we will ever be! Just real happy I had a whole house generator installed in April! It could make this event a little more tolerable.

We stocked up on food and gas, and I took my Blancpain Dark Knight out for the storm.

We have a full house generator (best investment I ever made for our house!), so the power going out is only bothersome for 30 seconds...

Stay safe everyone.

Hope everyone stays safe. I grew up in NJ but am now in MN.

Counting the cars on the New jersey Turnpike.....they've all come to look for America.

Conditions sometimes deteriorate quickly once the storm makes landfall - so the heightened reporting is to get people off the streets and safely inside.

Hope everyone has as safe a time of it as possible.

I'm 28 floors up in a Manhattan apartment building so my only concern is a blown out window. Nonetheless I'm wearing the Sub.

I took the boat out of the water this weekend, a few days earlier than normal, and now that I have everything put away I feel likes its a three day holiday. I could use a break tomorrow! Everything will be mostly shut down here in NYC they say. Stay safe everyone.

The sky is nothing short of ominous right now. Literally the calm before the storm. A little bit chilling. I typically take my jeep out in anything and everything. Im a bit scared right now.

We're expecting the worst here outside Philadelphia. My parents in Bergen county NJ have a generator ready to go. May be a long couple days, but most precautions have been taken, other than getting a generator, so lets hope for the best.
All the best to the rest as well!

Had time to make it to the eagles game too, although it started getting a bit nasty in the middle of the third (both on and off the feild). Stadium was pretty empty.

Wow. This might be a significant event because I just received an e-mail from a NY auction house I have dealt with...

"If you are receiving this email it is because you are one of EAC Gallery's valued clients. We want to let you know that our office here in New York is in the path of the unprecedented storm Sandy. As all of us continue to track Sandy's path we ask that you check for our emails and view our homepage at www.eacgallery.com for any possible effect the storm may have on this Fall auction.

In the unlikely event that you are unable to reach us rest assured that we will respond as soon as conditions allow

We hope that all of you on the Eastern Seaboard are well provisioned and remain safe throughout the storm."

AND from Chase telling us in this storm's path not to worry about late fees if our payments are late!

The federal govt is closed tomorrow so I guess I'm staying home, perhaps without power. I can always go the air force base if things get too bad. Am wearing the Deepsea for such occasion.

Keep safe!

Wearing My Omega SMP for the Sandy. The waves at the Jersey Shore were pretty high this afternoon while I was evacuating.

Be safe over there! Lot's of water, lots more beer/alcoholic beverages, and plenty of food. I've been through plenty of hurricanes here in Texas.

I am a good ways inland, but lots of trees. Gased up the rover, took care of stuff we don't talk about on TRF, have plenty of food. Going to fill up some 5 gallon water containers and have frozen bottles of water ready to go. Significant other's parents are in cape may so I might be heading over in the rover to get them post hurricane depending on how bad it is. They are right on the evacuation line (a few miles inland) and are staying.

Since I don't have a diver, I am going with the THC.
