Hermes H belt

Hey everyone!

I am thinking of getting one of these belts. I keep seeing them in the wild and I must say they look nice. If any of you have this belt could I see some pics?

The lady on Delicioso wears one along with the new mens SS DJ. I would like to get one for my daughter but they are kind of hard to find.

Ya I have noticed that. You have to go directly to a Hermes store.

Odd this is here, but I'm trying to score one too. No luck from any of the Hermès shops I've called thus far.

Whatever floats your boat and make you happy, but I'm thinking there must be a more meaningful way to spend you money...

Imo, it's UGLIEST belt ever and worth only 2 cents to me (Plus another LV, Gucci, DG with logos on), and especially on the men. you can get the same leather quality and but the Logo buckle on. if you're looking for a real piece of quality and art (not logos eye-catching like you see everywhere),so there're few handcrafted pieces by m.a+ maurizio amadei, carol christian poell, werkstatt munchen, julius... or at least the good quality by maison martin margiela. That's just my personal thought!...

Some people just don't have the style to pull them off. Others do and they look great!

I am very tempted to buy one. A tan and black leather with a polished gold 'H' would suit me nicely. Do I dare stray away from Louis Vuitton? haha

I personally struggle with belt logos on guys whether Hermes, LV, Gucci or whatever.... On gals with matching handbags and shoes, it somehow seems more appropriate and acceptable...... So even though I have designer brand belts, they are of the non logo variety....

And my surname begins with an H so Hermes would look even more rediculous.....

I have the small 32mm and large 42mm H belt kits. I posted pics in a similar thread but I don't have the link.

IMO, the H buckle doesn't scream 'H' as in Hermes, unlike other designers using their letters. Rather, it makes for a perfectly symmetrical buckle. I think the Gucci G (which Guess does a good job at imitating) or even worse, the LV logo belts scream for attention and look horrible.

Here's mine! I have the gold buckle from the first belt I bought in 1996 and then the Rhodium plated one that I purchased at the flagship Hermes boutique on Rue du Fabourg in Paris.

I have the basic "H" with black/camel leather. I had it for over 6 years and still wear it!

I would like to get another leather for it though.

Only the Paris boutique will sell you the leather part individually.

Thats incorrect. The buckle is only available as a kit but the straps can be bought individually in all their boutiques. Or did you mean that the only the Paris boutique will sell the buckle individually?

pretty sure 99% of the ones you randomly see in the wild are fake. I would never buy one because of that. I really like them though, but IMO random belts with an "H" has devalued the real ones massively.

I have the 42mm H belt which I ended up getting at half price from the Paris Boutique (but that’s another story)

I don’t wear it as much as I used to partially based on the above^ Also don’t get this fashion of tucking your top in only behind the buckle

The reason for exposing the buckle is to show off.
