My first Rolex is here! GMT Master 116710LN (lots of pics)
Good afternoon all!
I received my first 'proper' bonus from work and the timing just felt right so within a few hours it was on my wrist (i have never been good with patience) Here it is my brand new G Series Rolex GMT-Master II 116710LN! As I have seen so many threads regarding why someone would chose a GMT over a Sub C for me it was a few factors but the main one is about 30+ people in my company have Sub C's and I am yet to see one GMT! I also think it's the perfect mix of modern Sporty Rolexes.. by this I mean maxi dial supercase some green on the dial and hands, PCL's etc etc also the two time zones and the 3186 movement I think is very very impressive (this sucker hasn't lost 1 second so far!!) The watch is so versatile I wear a suit everyday for work and then causals on the weekends and I think this watch looks fantastic with both! now onto the pics.. do you like the watch? The touch of green from the Gmt hand and the two tone bracelet give it a special magic!
Superb choice. Wear it in good health! |

What a nice piece! I wish I had one of those... Oh, hang on, what is that on my wrist?
Watch out, someday you'll start matching pullovers to your green GMT hand ;)

Great pictures! I have a GMT IIc which I bought 4 months ago. It is still accurate to within 5 seconds over that time. Fabulous accuracy and looks!!!

Very very nice, I LOVE the two time zone aspect. Comes in handy not only when your a pilot, but a trader living on the west coast, or stationed somewhere around the world. Never miss the bell.
Congrats! CPT |
