what happens if you dont send it to a RSC?

well, like a lot of folks i believe i could probably get way better service from one of the fine indapendant people out there. I.e. rikki. etc.

im assuming most of these recommended watchmakers use genuine rolex parts?

it seems like no matter what brand of watch you have. it seems all you hear about is cut rate/ mediocre service from all of the "service barns".....

As long as they are certified Rolex watchmakers and have a spareparts account you are good to go!

1) Don't assume the watchmaker will use rolex parts
2) Don't assume RSC will do competent work.

I guess you'll have to take my word for it, or call Rolex if you like I'm sure there is someone there that can verify it. Rikki

Clarification:
I was responding in general to the OP's comment re assuming .... Although I have never personally used Rikki's services, I do take notice of Rikki's posts while enjoying the forum & all the comments I have read with regard to Rikki have been overwhelmingly positive & with praise
