16570 date wheel

Anyone ever put a red, or roulette, date wheel on the previous Explorer II? Maybe its just me but I think it would spruce up the look a bit, Especially on the polar 16570. Is this even possible?

I think it would take away the understated look a bit. I really like the small splash of color on the GMT hand, just the right amount.

Why would you want to tamper with your watch?

Paging Jocke....
Mr. Jocke...please report to the franken-wing

If it can be done, I'm sure Jocke has tried it. Did you see him homage Explorer II thread yet?

Actually a cool idea if you ask me. A red date wheel would be pretty subtle and also compliment the GMT hand.

I remember seeing a post a while back (probably by Jocke) with a green date wheel on a GMT IIC. I thought that looked fantastic!

I'm curious too. I think it would look cool. I have no problem with it if it is a Rolex date wheel.
