Canada to U.S.
Has anyone shipped their watch to the US from Canada for repairs. Any problems encountered? Any info would be appreciated.

There is no problem doing that, I've done it many times back and forth, "out for repair" there will be no duty charges on the way there but on the way back they might charge you duty based on the cost of the repair. Hope that helps. Make sure it is clearly marked out for repair, broken watch.

Just wondering.
Why wouldn't you send to Rolex Service Centre, Toronto, if it's a Rolex? |

Yes, twice to Bob Ridley. Shipped FedEx, insured through ParcelPro, no problems either time other than having to fill out FedEx's "watch worksheet" which breaks the watch down into most of its component parts for valuation purposes.

Identification of articles for temporary exportation
Bring your watch in your local customs office and get them stamp this card with your watch declared ,this card does not expire. It will cover you with customs issues.

Parcel Pro won't let me sign up because I don't own a business...
Are there alternate options for insurance? |

Give them a call, 888 683-2300, they'll help you set up an account. I was very impressed by their customer service.
