How accurate is your Rolex ?

I have had this GMT2 about 10 days now and when it arrived I set it to an ipad app called world time, has local time too and i suppose its accurate any how I synced the second hands, 10 days later my GMT looks to be trailing by 2 seconds.
good luck

I think this has been covered before but I'll give my input!

Mine is about +2 secs per day depending on activity. Well within COSC standards and on a personal note, I prefer watches faster rather than slower. ^_^

It happens. Have fun with your watch, don't take it so seriously.

Never bothered to check the accuracy. I have never been late for train/meeting/flight though.

All my Rolex are accurate enough for me, as my life is not run to the exact second. So a few seconds either way out of 86400 seconds in a day will do for me, might check once in while if a minute or so either way will re-set.

How accurate is the timing by seconds on this site?

Can I measure and set my sub by the time on the site?

Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
Five hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear
Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

As I look down at my Rolex, or Omega, or Zenith, or Ball, etc...all I recall is thinking, "Jeez, is it _______o'clock already?"

My old ( 1986 ) sub is good, gains about 5 secs a day. My other two aren't so good the oyster perpetual date from 2009 gains about 10 secs a day and my 18 month old datejust turn-o-graph gains about the same. I'm thinking of sending the Thunderbird back to the makers to be regulated under warranty.

My GMT IIc gains 0.5 secs a day and loses that at night (crown up) I think the point is that for a mechanical watch, that ain't bad.

My Daytona 116520 is .5 seconds plus a day.

The Explorer II 216570 is 1 second plus a day.

My Sub 14060M is running minus 2 a day.

My Daytona is ridiculously accurate for a Rolex.
The rest are still within COSC specs.

There seems to be a minor obsession around here with G-Shocks (positive and negative). I doubt I've ever actually seen one (or actually known it was a G-Shock), what's the deal with them?

That's the most common watch I see on people's wrists (obviously not on here though). My boss even wears one

Rolex may run well with COSC spec but in terms of accuracy, it certainly lags behind all the Omegas and Breitlings I have had in terms of accuracy. Still my favourite watch though.

Use your ipad for accuracy and enjoy your new iconic jewellery.
