My 'christmas present'!!!
Had my new Datejust II 116333 delivered today, lets justify it as a christmas present until I can better persuade GF that it's a 'great investment!'
After going out in London a few weekends ago and trying on every single dial combination I knew it had to be the graphite with green numerals, I fell in love with it straight away - unfortunately I did not fall in love with the £7,750 list price which the london dealers would not shift on. Fortunately Rockefeller's in Manchester were there to help and got me a great deal on the exact model I wanted (if anyone in the UK is buying a new watch I strongly suggest you give them a call, they are great guys there). So anyway, attached are the photos. I think it compliments my WG DJII really well in terms of now having a great day-to-day work watch, and also something a bit more special and flashy for going out at night to bars/restaurants. - JD |

Very nice and congrats, the green numerals are such a unique contrast. For some reason that one lume marker at 9 rubs me a little odd.
I wouldn't wear both like that though, just pick one...... |

Great combination!! I think it's a good move, to have the WG in lume while the TT in roman numerals... Personally I would prefer the black dial with gold roman numerals but still, that TT ya have there juz make me drool!

The hour marker at 9 o'clock balanced off the date window quite well.
Congrats. This is my fave DJII. Please post more wrist pix in the DJII wrist pix thread |

My favourite DJ as well though I think it might have been better if they'd put lume at 6 as well. Date at 3, lume at 6 and 9 and crown at 12 might just have tempted me...

the green romans on the graphite dial is a winning combi! i love it! but if only the size was not 41mm, too huge for my 6.5in small wrist...
