Would you trade?

I have had a datejust 116234 with white face and roman numerals on an oyster band for a few months. I do like the watch, but I also have a speedmaster pro which has been getting the most wrist time. The datejust seems to be a bit too formal with the polished center links. Would you trade the datejust for a submariner 16610 from 2008? Would the sub hold its value as opposed to the datejust?

Thanks for your input.

Sam

Yes I would do that trade as the submariner can be worn anywhere for any occasion and yes the sub will hold value better than a datejust.you can't go wrong with a sub,if your gonna have one rolex it should be a sub.

Trade for the watch you like best and will want to wear most vs what will have resale value.

IMO

Resale value is not my biggest concern, just curious. A beautiful watch sitting in its box more than it should is. Thank you.

I would trade the Speedmaster toward the Sub and keep the DJ.

Speedy Pro - iconic
Sub - Iconic
Datejust - wonderful, but run of the mill.

I would trade for sure. The sub is a watch that can be dressed up or down. Ultimately, you have to do what you think is best.
