I went and did it...
Been looking for a bit on the site. Was originally looking at getting an Omega Seamaster the started looking at a used Sub. That lead me to an AD and looking at a new Sub. Went back today and she grabbed her watchmakers 16610 for me to see both side by side and I walked out with a new 116610. I could not be happier. My wife is apparently jealous as she thinks I like it more than her! No fancy pictures or anything but I cant stop looking at it and am very pleased with my decision to buy new.
p.s.- everyone here was of little help as I searched and searched wheather to buy new or used, to get a 16610 or a 116610....So many opinion s the one that worked best was to see both side by side and get what felt best

Congrats, you gotta post a few wrist shots. You know whats odd, I have both, but am kinda digging the 16610 a little better. I think its cause I have it on a NATO and it's really discreet unless you know what to look for.
Actually, I put it on a brand new black NATO this afternoon after receiving it in the mail, and I was like, WOW, thats nice. I might end up wearing both of them on NATOs. I know a seller who has a ton of leather NATOs and I think I will grab a few just to mix up the Nylon look. |

Just a word of advice dont be calling your wife not fancy, they hate that.
