Rivet Oyster Bands

Does anyone still wear a rivet Oyster band anymore?

You can see them on old GMT's, for example.

Rolex Oyster riveted bracelets came in a normal and flexible version. The flexible version tended to wear out very quickly, so Rolex discontinued it in the mid 1960ies.

Some collectors do for originality. I found the 7206 to be a bit of a hair puller. The 6636 stretch rivet was known to be a bit fragile. Rolex fixed a warning certificate stating the watch should be removed from the wrist when winding to avoid stretch.

Of coarse. No hair pulling here. And its comfortable too. It's on my Datejust from the 50's.
