Does anyone know about pre 1925 movements?
I bought this watch (Im a sucker for neat vintage stuff) on ebay... and i have been to two different estate jewelers.. and keep getting referred. All I have been told is that the movement is pre 1925, and there is a very small signature with numbers etched in the upper corder of the inside backing (I have learned this is what watch repairers used to do). It does not work, so I need to get in repaired. I luckily have a friend that will repair for less... but I dont want to put more into something that is possibly nothing. I only spent 380 so far, not a big deal unless its a 20 dollor watch ! I have included the listing, and I do have a return window... Im just hoping someone can help me ... I have spent hours googling and have not found much.
