New Model Daytona

I was ringing round AD's in the UK last week trying to get on a list for a SS Daytona ( without any luck I might add, they just talked to me like I was from another planet, maybe I am thinking I can get on an AD's list for a Daytona ).
Anyway one of the dealers was speculating that there maybe a new model Daytona being lauched at Baselworld 2008, he told me that he had been quizing his rep the previous day and that the rep wasn't denying it.
Has anyone else heard this? and does anyone know of any AD's taking names in the UK for the SS Daytona.

Dude try going to HK or even here in the Philippines. You'll have just have to wait for a month and the SS daytona is all yours.

Nice one, my brother has a few contacts in Hong Kong through his work. I'll get on the blower now.

Sorry, but a LOT of AD's tend to tell you

There will always be rumours like that, and basically ONLY Rolex knows.

The SS Daytona is not difficult to find, if you really want it. But you'd have to pay over MSRP to get one now.

And one thing is certain: Rolex prices are NEVER gonna drop!

So maybe it could be a good idea to find an SS Daytona now at a deal as good as possible (still over MSRP, though!), since price increases will make the SS Daytona get more expensive.

Might have to resort to that.
Has anyone had any experience of buying from Homg Kong, any numbers for AD's over there. Will they do international business?

Hi Tobyone, more Rolex Daytona BS.
If Rolex continue changing the models then they will loose a large part of their charm and charisma.
Rolex have remained largely unchanged for many years with the Sub, SD, DJ, & DD instantly recognisable.
If they emabark on a campaign of change then they run the risk of becoming just another dispensible commodity, not something to treasure.
