Yep. Looking at the thread trying to figure our how to respond. Nothing about my ad is anything but the truth.
The LV insert was replaced by Mayors here in GA. I purchased the insert from the classifieds on THIS FORUM new in the marked Rolex package. So If it's fake then the member that sold it to me is selling fake stuff. Look it up apparently you have access. When Mayors did the work they said nothing about the watch not being real And short of removing the back and looking at the works I have no other way to verify anything about the watch everything else looks fine to me. I have sold many high-end items on eBay with no problem including Rolex watches so I don't know what to tell you. |

Nobody posted a reason for why it should be fake. I would be interested in the reasons.

Fake ?

Can't really tell from these scans, but I can tell you that the V serial Rolex should have the credit card type card and not the old paper. Even the paper shown is the pre 2000 type |

I looked at it against mine and see several problems... Ist the engraving on the rehaut, on mine the R and the X are not touching as his are...Secondly the ss under the 6 is not in the right place...Third the markers appear much thicker than mine...In all, it doesn't look right.... Enlarge this pic of mine and then compare it to his.... |

Again, READ the listing please. I clearly stated the boxes and paperwork were NOT original to the watch. I simply had them as extras and threw them in as a bonus to the buyer.
I purchased the insert right here on this forum and had it installed. |

I second the request from kooltzar. It's almost as if there is a vendetta against those selling their watches on eBay.

I'm not seeing an obvious problem. Since the Guarantee is not original, should it be excluded?

Google is a wonderful tool. All I did was google his user I'd which brought me to a website called repgeek where I was able to look up all his postings....and research the watch he has.
It's called TC's LV with some authentic parts. You can also see who he bought it from in the link below. It has genuine crystal and genuine bezel insert. That's why he is showing his posting of the insert. Here are some reasons why other than the parts I listed above as genuine, the rest is fake: 1. Have a look at the rehaut engraving. Those of us that own Rolex watches with rehaut engraving know his is wayy off. 2. Look at the indices, they surrounds are too thick. Don't believe me, have a look at some of sellers here it's a very subtle difference. I notice it because I have owned 5-6 LV's through the years... 3. Here you go: another reason showing why this guy is a total scumbag: The post where he bought the watch from: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You read the thread and find out for yourself. Dmb350 if your watch is the real McCoy you should post a video with a hand written note showing which way your watch turns....I'll be willing to bet some serious cash it's not the right way.

Thanks for proving my point for me Mike. The watch listed on eBay does not have a crown etching at 6:00. The watch you referenced already HAD an insert so why would I buy another one? Oh yeah, I don't have to prove anything to you.
Finally, and this is the last time I'm going to respond to this thread. Yes I do frequent rep forums (as do probably 90% of the members here) and gun forums and motorcycle forums and car forums and all types of forums. I use the same name on all of them and I've bought and sold on almost all of them too. FIND 1 person claiming I'm anything but honest except you. Not sure what your deal is guy. You started off saying EVERYTHING was fake but now its just bits and pieces? You just gonna keep tweaking that story? The buyer has all the rights on eBay. They can simply send it back for a refund if they have an issue. I'm not an expert on subs (I usually deal with DJ) and obviously neither are you since you can't tell a real insert when you see it. I'm done. |

Mike, I can see your concerns, and I have a few of my own........
First, do not post replica websites on these boards, including the 'Watchout section'! Now. Not to play devils advocate here, but there are some questionable things about this watch, and the pictures are not to great in coming to a absolute truth IMO. The rehalt does look off, as does the end link orientation to the case..... OP. What I would like to see is, a complete and full view of the dial, caseback to the endlinks, and buckle scroll work before judging which direction this thread is heading. The Dial pic should be with the hour of 9:13 and the seconds at 40. A movement pic would also be instramental..... Mike (djemmtee), please refrain from further comment until the forthcoming pictures are present. dmb350, there is a time frame of 24 hours to respond. Any further comments should be kept factual, and not libel from here on out, or I'll be forced to make choices on the forums best interest!

The watch is fake. You use the same screen name here, ebay, and the replica site you bought it from without an insert.

This guy, by going through his past auctions and feedback has sold several other watches as the real deal that also happen to be watches that have been replicated. Contacted past buyers today Not sure if the buyers have any legal recourse at this point if they are fakes but hopefully it'll bring enough pain for wire fraud via a continuing criminal enterprise charges. |

With no validation forthcoming in the allotted time frame, and given the background history, the forum and it's members best interest have now been taken care of.....
