Rolex Shop - 16570 Explorer II now £4,750, apparently!

I've just been in the largest Rolex shop in Europe (Knightsbridge, London) and spotted a 40mm white dial ExpII for sale. I thought they had long since disappeared. Anyway, what was even more surprising was the price - £4,750!! When did they go up? I thought their last price was £4,550.

I asked about steel Daytonas and he said that they are still very difficult to get hold of. They've had hardly any this year and haven't had one in stock for quite a while.

Another surprise was that they had sold out of steel Sub's!

I rather fancied one of those nice platinum Day Dates... but thought I'd save my pennies for one of those nice Mclaren cars in the shop next door :-)
