New Croc Shoes for my 233
OEM Gold Alligator Nubuck. I think it is called the Jules Verne. It completely changes the watch (in a good way) and it will develop a nice patina over time. It has a very smooth brushed velvety reptile feeling ... It is a strap for special occasions. This one wasn't expected but I saw it and could not resist. It is not something I would normally buy but I am so glad I did!
The OEM quality and finishing is outstanding! Thanks Alfred!

AGREED, gorgeous strap, indeed.. I have one for my 448 and another for my 372, haven't strapped them on yet though... I wish one would at least stay light tan colored, I like the light tan :(

Patina-less brand new color and texture are better appreciated here ... Too nice to describe.

Nice choice. I just picked up another JV to replace the one I bought from the Florence store 2 years ago.

Killer Combo, Serg
I love JV but not for my strap. I can't stand seeing it developing patina |

Thanks Panos. Certainly not a daily wearer for me, but very special to have nonetheless.

Anything we can put on the strap to preserve it's natural tan color when new lol??? I love Patina on my straps and some pieces, however, on this strap not so much.. I already have a darker croc and gator, I like this light :(

You could always buy two -- keep one pristine and let the other patina away. Just be careful washing your hands if you want to keep it pristine. Any small spray of water will darken that lovely light color.
