To do or not to do

I have narrowed down my next purchase being the breitling b01 chronomat. Saw some pics on the attire thread on dingo and that sealed the deal for me.
Now comes the dilema- trade or sell my f serial GMT 2 to fund this purchase. What do u guys think?
I really appreciate the input.

Noooooo ....

Keep the GMT II and save for the Breitling ! Consider buying pre-loved so you don't take a big hit if you ever decide to sell.

I own a Breitling Super Ocean that I wear daily in rotation with my Sub C.

I love Breitling watches & would consider purchasing another one, but would not trade or sell any Rolex that I owned to fund the purchase.

Hardly. Breitlings are fine watches.

It's your money....would I do it? NO WAY! I'd rather pick up a preowned Breitling.

I would not do it. The B01 is a great chrono movement by Breitling, but it pales in comparison to the classic GMT2. No trade, no way.

If you don't wear the rolex then you mind as well. That said, I would not do it if you are going to buy the breitling new. Buying breitlings new is a horrible investment most of the time. It seems like you will take a 40-50% hit.

This has got to be a joke.

I don't think this would go over even in the breitling forum.

And personally, I think it looks good. But no way.
