Need Help with Band and Bezel Purchase

Hello,

I have been a member for a little while but this is my first post. I bought 2 items off ebay that I can't figure out if they are genuine Rolex. The first is a TT ladies Oyster Band. I was cheap and it looked right but this serial number range band was heavily copied to my knowledge and have heard about great copies. The second is a bezel for my GMT II Fat Lady and the number printing looks different than the original. This bezel was going to be used as a daily driver while the original stayed in better condition. Please advise. I know you guys hate this stuff but I feel like the market is so saturated with fakes and up where Im at ,it's a 6 hour drive to the first qualified opinion....thanks

Curious to learn/know - but how does one spot a fake bracelet. Are those numbers not typical of this bracelet ?

If you only looked at the numbers, yes. Those numbers are for a Ladies Jubilee bracelet. The one shown is an Oyster bracelet, two different animals.

Hmm, This is a ladies band, but Oyster, could it be a clasp off a Jubilee, and band of an oyster? Is it an outright copy and how could you tell? The reason I ask is this was an ebay purchase and I want to know how to state my case… I can give you the auction number if you need it . Thank you for your time and understanding

get us some better close up of the the clasp markings, but it looks fake, the set up appears wrong, we need to examine the stampings and scrolling better, as for the bezel we need good a close up of the back as well as the front of the bezel insert in clear macro. thanks

Posted more pictures in Photbucket link from the first post, please check out. I looked at the stampings on the band and clasp and nothing is laser etched it is all stamped if that helps...

Sorry to say the additional pics don't change the original diagnosis IMHO. The Rolex brand and scroll work doesn't look right and appears to be off center by a few mm.

AS for the band what else are the red flags. I have another band and it is identical. Link edges, screws, and the stamping. Please advise

Cases like this worry me a lot, as the bracelet itself has good looks to me.
