What I got the kids for Christmas

A friend at work was selling a used but like new Wii game system

I bought it for my kids.

Anyone have any experience with it and can maybe recommend a good game or two...for both the kids (9 and 12)...and me.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:agr ee:

What do you want for it? My mother in law is trying to find one for her son!

If they're in to football, you can buy them Madden '08. Or you can buy them WII sports. It has I think 3 or four different sports games on one disc.

PM me Steve if you would like to know where to buy some games CHEAP

I have two daughters, 5 & 7 and they love the Wii.
We just have the included game and Wii Sports.

Personally I am quite addicted to racing the Nurburgring on Forza 2 on the XBox 360.

You may want to consider the Wii Play package. It has 9 games similar to the 5 that comes with the Wii and you get a remote as well for $50. Besides that, the Mario series is always fun. Guitar Hero 3 is also a hot item if you can find it for MSRP.

The Wii craze is something. I bought 2 and have one on ebay and another on Craigslist. I'm hoping that my ebay one doubles what I paid for it. If I don't get the price I want on Craigslist, I'm thinking about giving it to my cousins as a gift.

I've played the Wii before, but I'm not interested in keeping one for myself at this time. I play the 360 more and barely touch the PS3.

Tiger Woods 08 is one of the best games I've ever played, and I don't even like golf! Links Crossbow Training is a lot of fun too, and it comes with a Wii Blaster that turns the remote into a gun for other shooting games.

The ultimate Wii accessory is a DLP multimedia projector (like we use at work to bore collegues with Powerpoint presentations). That allows me to play Tiger Woods 08 on a 75" projected image! If you do this, pick up a wireless sensor bar so that you don't have to run a cable to the sensor bar. Also, Wii remotes are notorious for eating batteries. One of those charging stations with proper batteries is a good investment.

Their second choice is Mario Super Galaxy which just came out in November. It's highly rated and more important, readily available.
