The gold Day-Date will always be a classic. One question, though....I thought the Roman numerals were not all right-side-up (sideways at 3 and 9, upside down at 6, etc). Did Rolex change this at a certain point? Just curious....

Any expert (Alpino?) chime in?
I was wondering the same, I think all current Rolex have "radially symmetric" Roman numerals.
Until when the "flipped" Roman were an option? Did they coexisted with the "radially symmetric" ones?
I would like to know a bit more about this stylistic variant.
Just curious...

Such an awesome watch! Maybe one day I can acquire that baby. Well, I doubt my wife would let me spend that much on a watch. Regardless, very nice watch. I love it!
