new to me 1680! uh oh...

when i received a a very warm welcome to TRF several months ago i was warned there would be consequences and my first rolex would not be my last!!!

well picked up a beautiful new-to-me 1680 from gslaskin a few weeks ago (thanks Gary!!) and it has not left my wrist since it arrived. i'm starting to feel bad for my exp1, but i figure i'll go back to it in due time...

the problem is, i keep looking at subCs and liking what i see. uh oh...

Many congrats and welcome to the 'sickness' club. the sickness arrived to me in the year 2010, my 40th birthday year. I went through 'some' watches (100% of those "past" & "present" ones in my signature are the products since 2010) and I still find myself in and out of the forum at least couple of times a day.. wear it in good health..

I'm where you were a few months back; just bought my first Rolex, received a very warm welcome to TRF, and currently telling people its going to be my "only" Rolex... I guess I'd better keep saving!

Congrats Ryan!

thanks everyone for your sympathy, i don't think there's much hope for me at this point!

the 1680 was a great find, and wearing it is a completely different experience than the contemporary explorer. very glad i picked up a vintage so soon...

@Matt: welcome to the best. sickness. ever.
