Berlin - Rolex heaven.......

I am just back from a business trip to Berlin. While in town I had the pleasure of visiting Wempe and Bucherer in Friedrichstrasse. Wow, what a selection, friendly service too. They didn't even ridicule my lousy German. I had a point to the visit, which was to have an extra link fitted to my Oysterquartz 17000 which is a little tight. Neither store had the part in stock but Wempe offered to find it and fit it the same day, unfortunately flight times did not permit.

Good experience.

Wempe is OK

But finally it is the person in front of you who makes the story . . . and some do know how to do it . . .

Bought last week at Wempe on Ku'dam, Berlin and loved the service I received! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

The Ku'dam has some pretty incredible watch shops - I have a friend who lived just off there, needless to say I was in heaven when I visited!

Berlin, da kikste wa! Great city.

Lived there 30+ years ago when the wall was still up. Fun times going through Checkpoint Charlie with the East German barking German shepherds and watching the U.S. v. U.S.S.R. Olympic hockey in game in East Berlin - shop owner: "Go ahead and cheer for the U.S. We don't like the Russians either."
