While test driving a 114060 today at a local AD the sales rep mentioned an increase in April. Maybe it was more than the sales tactic I took it as...

Of course there will be a price increase. No one knows when; however, regularly seems like a good bet.

This is good and bad. Good if you own many and like to sell them and bad if you're new like me to the Rolex world and want everything under the sun with the Rolex name stamped on the dial LOL!! Very expensive hobby for sure.

Rolex prices always increase, but nobody knows exactly when it will happen.
Anyone who says he knows anything beyond a day or two before the increase is a liar.

I was window shopping at an AD in a mall in Maryland yesterday and the salesman mentioned that he had heard that prices were going up maybe in March. Then, as if on cue, my iPhone rang, playing of course the Rolex theme and he didn't react at all, no recognition. Hmmmmm?

Do you know why so many sales people say that prices are going up in March?
Because they all read about the price increase posts on TRF.

Depends on who you ask. A rolex AD will always answer yes buy now. Somebody here on the fourm may have a good guess. I used to think it was every two years? Now I am not so sure.

A friend of a friend who knows a friend of a friend of a friend of a sales person said it might happen soon. He also said new Pepsi and Coke ceramics along with ceramic SS Daytona released at Basel this year.

When a seller is talking about price increase, isn't he/she trying the oldest trick in the book? They just want you to make up your mind quick and buy the watch right away.
The only thing they, as well as we, know is that there will be an increase, but when??? /Tony __________________________________________ The best way to predict the future is to create it... |

Come on people quit posting in this thread. This topic always has the same answers. You could be using your brain power to be making posts in the Grand Seiko vs Rolex build quality thread instead.
