Tudor rolex information required

Can anyone give me anymore information regarding this Tudor watch that i bought. The watch has been authenticated by the retailer and also by an independent retailer.

Can anyone help me with dating, valuing it and the history of it?

The model number is 74034
the serial number is 32740

It has a gold and silver rolex strap, a black face with diamonds for each number except the no. 12 where it has the Tudor emblem.

Any information will be great as i am new to all this

Thanks

Paul - ya know a pic will help...that serial # is 1960-1961ish...but the model number is a an Oysterdate. Much newer and there'd be no diamond at 3 o'clock either...

Pictures of the actual watch will be what is needed versus a picture of a piece of paper

Oh, the value of research. How did you buy a watch whose value you don't know anything about? I mean it: how could you tell if you got a fair price?

Then there's the dealer itself:

Not so good that they display this on their "guarantee" page
http://www.zitajewelry.com/guarantee.html

And a rather unpromising review of this "dealer"

The watch on their E Bay home page has a phony cyclops on it.

Well, for starters, the 74034 model would not be a two toned Tudor...their model codes mimic the Rolex line and the '4' would indicate a white gold bezel...on Tudors that would be 14K WG and it would be fluted.

So, for starters the watch already appears to be compromised in major ways since leaving the factory. It doesn't mean that the bezel, bracelet and crown aren't 'official' Tudor products, but that '4' would be a '3' if it left the factory as a two toned watch.

Also, the vast majority of two toned Tudor's from that era were fitted with folded link jubilee 14K plated gold bracelets...not an oyster bracelet. On the view side, it was a yellow gold plating...and on the inside of the bracelet the reveal was stainless steel.

So, something's rotten either in Denmark or in London.
