serial number on watch
just curious
why do people hide the watch number when they show pictures of the watch It doesn't seem like it would be a big deal I had a gentleman ask me for mine on a Blancpain that I am selling now thanks |

I think most people do it so counterfeiters don't use their number to make a fake or somthing... But TBH I really don't know and have wondered that myself.

Another reason is that somebody may use your serial do declare the watch stolen. I am not sure where this may end up but it can certainly create you troubles.
